Terms, Policies, and Client Agreement

Policies at a Glance

  • 1:1 payment is due by the end of your session (cash, e-transfer, or online checkout). Unpaid balances may pause future bookings.

  • Arrive up to 5 minutes early. 15+ minutes late = reschedule + $75 late fee due at the rescheduled booking.

  • 12 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may require 50% of the session price before rebooking (50% may be credited toward your next session).

  • No-shows result in no further bookings until any outstanding balance is resolved.

  • Classes/workshops require 50% deposit(unless said otherwise), to hold your spot and must be paid in full by class start.

Payment

1:1 Sessions

Payment is due by the end of your session unless otherwise agreed in advance. Payment may be made by cash, e-transfer, or online checkout through the website (service products). Receipts are available upon request. Invoicing is available for organizations.

If payment is not received by the end of the session, future bookings may be paused until the balance is settled.

Classes, Trainings, and Workshops

All classes, trainings, and workshops require a minimum 50% deposit to reserve your space. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the start of class. If payment is not completed by the start time, your spot may be released.

Booking, Cancellations, and Attendance

No-Show Policy

No-shows are not tolerated. A no-show results in no further bookings until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Arrival and Late Policy

You are welcome to arrive up to 5 minutes early for your appointment.

If you are 15 minutes late or more, your session will be rescheduled and a $75 late fee will be applied to your client file. This fee is due at the time of your rescheduled booking.

24-Hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule.

If you cancel within 24 hours, or if you are unable to attend and your appointment time cannot be filled, 50% of the session price is required before booking another appointment.
50% of this charge may be applied as credit toward your next booking.

Credits and Use of Credit

Any credit issued by The Higher Oracle is non-transferable, holds no cash value, and may only be applied toward eligible services as outlined at the time it is issued.

Session Timing

Sessions are delivered within the time booked. Additional time is not guaranteed and may not be available due to scheduling.

Refund Policy

Services

All services are non-refundable once delivered.

Events, Classes, Trainings, and Workshops

All event tickets and class/training payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. If you are unable to attend, ticket transfer options may be offered at the discretion of The Higher Oracle when notice is provided in advance.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Client names, contact details, bookings, and session content (including readings) are treated as confidential to support privacy and safety. The Higher Oracle protects client information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Limits to Confidentiality

Confidentiality may be limited where required by law, including situations involving suspected child or elder abuse or neglect, threats of harm to self or others, or when ordered by a court to provide information or testify, to the extent the law requires.

Consent and Touch

Consent is required at all times. Any hands-on elements (when applicable) are by explicit permission only and can be declined, paused, or changed at any point.

Recording and Photography

To protect privacy and confidentiality, recording is not permitted during sessions unless explicitly agreed upon in advance by all parties involved. Photos may only be taken with consent.

Social Sharing

Social sharing is welcome. You’re invited to take photos before or after your session (or of your personal setup at home) and tag @thehigheroracle.

To protect the container and privacy, no audio/video recording is permitted during sessions unless explicitly agreed upon in advance by all parties involved. Please avoid capturing other participants, client information, or private session content without consent.

Group Session Container

To protect the experience for all participants, late entry may not be permitted once a group session begins. If you arrive late, your ticket/payment remains non-refundable.

Scope of Practice

The Higher Oracle offers complementary wellness services and educational support. These services are not medical, psychiatric, or crisis services and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are at risk of harm, contact local emergency services or a qualified health professional immediately.

Technology and Communication

Communication through email, text, phone, Zoom/Skype, and other technologies may not be fully secure. By participating, you accept the confidentiality risks associated with these methods.

Minors

Services for minors require written consent from a parent or legal guardian, unless services are provided through an authorized organization or program with appropriate consent procedures in place.

Accessibility

If you require accessibility accommodations, please contact us in advance so we can support you as best as possible.

Intellectual Property

All materials, teachings, content, and written resources provided by The Higher Oracle are for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, recorded, reproduced, or resold without written permission.

Right to Refuse Service / Safety

The Higher Oracle reserves the right to refuse or end a session if there is disrespectful, aggressive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour. In such cases, payment policies still apply.

Professional Standards

Elianna Veritas aka Elianna Rojas is a registered member of the International Board of Coaches and Practitioners (IBCP) and upholds professional standards of ethics, confidentiality, and informed consent.

Client Agreement and Disclaimer

By purchasing or participating in any service offered by The Higher Oracle and/or Elianna Veritas, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following:

  1. Not Medical or Mental Health Care
    I understand that the services I will be receiving are not offered as a substitute for professional medical or mental health care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health conditions. I also understand that Elianna Veritas is not acting as a medical professional or licensed mental health counselor.

  2. Coaching is Unregulated
    I understand that coaching is, at present, an unregulated industry. I understand that Elianna Veritas is not licensed by Canada or any province/country. For all legal purposes, services provided will be considered provided in Manitoba, Canada.

  3. Personal Responsibility
    I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being during and after sessions, including my choices and decisions.

  4. Potential Emotional or Physical Responses
    I understand that services may trigger emotional, mental, physical, or spiritual responses and that I am responsible for my own self-care and for seeking appropriate professional support when needed.

  5. Not a Substitute for Therapy
    I understand that these services are not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment, and I will not use them in place of any form of therapy.

  6. Informed Consent
    I understand that all comments, insights, and ideas offered are solely for the purpose of supporting my selected service and/or defined goals. I have the ability to give informed consent and I hereby provide that consent to proceed.

  7. No Guaranteed Outcomes
    I understand that Elianna Veritas does not guarantee outcomes including, but not limited to, increased clientele, improved sales, recognition, improved well-being, predicting the future, personal success, or any other specific results.

  8. Optional Purchases
    I understand that if Elianna suggests that I purchase additional products or services, whether from this site or elsewhere, I am not required to do so and any such purchase will be at my own risk and subject to any terms and conditions presented at the time of such purchase.

  9. Release of Liability
    I hereby release, waive, acquit, and forever discharge The Higher Oracle, Elianna Veritas, and any agents, successors, assigns, personal representatives, executors, heirs, and employees from any and every claim, suit, action, demand, or right to compensation for damages arising out of my participation in services, including outcomes related to my own actions or decisions. I further declare that no promise, inducement, or agreement not expressed in this agreement has been made to me. This agreement shall bind my heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, assigns, and agents.
